We have had a great kickoff to Summer fishing in Miami's Biscayne Bay with calm conditions and happy fish cruising the flats. Last week I fished with a new Client and he wanted to catch his first Permit although we only had half a day booked I told him I would do my best to find the fish. After two stops and no fish our third stop was fruitful land two Bonefish including his Personal Best! So I had two more spots in mind now that the tide was right so off we went. One we arrived we were Scanning the flat and noticed a decent size patch of muddy water. As we approached the muddy water I noticed a silver flash so we made a cast and landed another bonefish! We continued to work the edge of the flat looking for Permit and as we were about to call it quits I noticed a rumble of waves coming at us from the corner of my eye so I spun the skiff around and he made a cast and BOOM Permit on!
