Summertime can provide some of the best fishing in Miami's Biscayne Bay this past week we had a break from the rain and the fishing was EPIC. We started at dawn looking for pushing schools of Permit and the tide was pretty much slack but as it flipped we began to see life on the flats. It didn't take long before we saw our first school of Permit pushing, Finning and Mooning (swimming with their foreheads out of the water). First cast produced a nice fish which peeled a lot of drag on a calm quiet morning. In total we ended up with six Permit landed and lost a few as well. The bonefishing has been really good as well we've been catching fish on fly and live shrimp. If your looking for a Miami Fishing Guide I have dates available for you to experience this great fishery. Call me at 786 517 7261 or email me at JP2436@ymail.com
